This new Borderlands 3 Shift Code will be active until 11:59pm PST on Thursday, February 20, and it is as follows: K3WBT-B5ZHZ-63CZC-S35JT-F3FT6. Players can redeem this code either through Gearbox’s website or in-game, and once entered the three Golden Keys will appear in the Borderland 3 mailbox, which fans can find within the game’s Social tab.

With these BL3 Golden Keys in hand, players should then head to Sanctuary 3, the game’s central hub, and visit the Golden Chest that is located there. For fans that are not familiar with the exact location of the Golden Chest, a quick look at Sanctuary 3’s map should clear things up straightaway, as the cache is marked directly upon it.

To note, the loot that can be found inside of the Borderlands 3 Golden Chest is always the same level as the Vault Hunter that opened it. As such, players may want to hold onto these new Golden Keys until the aforementioned level cap increase has gone live and they have reached the new max level in Borderlands 3, which is 53.

Indeed, it has been confirmed that level 53 loot will be available in Borderlands 3 moving forward, and the new BL3 Shift Code is the perfect opportunity for players to pickup some of this more powerful gear as soon as they hit the new level cap. While there is indication that the jump from level 50 gear to level 53 gear will not be significant, fans that want their Borderlands 3 Vault Hunters to be as powerful as possible will still likely be interested in upgrading, and Golden Keys can certainly assist with that.

With respect to how players should go about hitting the new BL3 level cap, participating in the aforementioned Broken Hearts Day event is definitely one way to do it. This seasonal event will offer rewards to Borderlands 3 players that break the hearts of their enemies, but with Broken Hearts Day scheduled to last for only a single week, fans that want to partake will need to act quickly.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
