Cuba is next up for the Stars & Stripes, who are massive favorites in Saturday’s quarterfinal at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore (5 p.m. ET, Fox). The U.S. is laying -1800 odds at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. There’s a cheaper way to bet the Americans, but you’d have to lay 3 goals on a spread bet for +105 (there’s a full list of odds below).
Should the U.S. get past Cuba, it’ll play the winner of the Jamaica-Panama game, also to be played in Baltimore (8 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 2). The semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday at the Georgia Dome Jamaica is priced as the +135 favorite over Haiti on Saturday.
A goal on the last play of the final group stage game gave Trinidad and Tobago a 4-4 tie against Mexico on Wednesday, good enough to claim first place in Group C. Unfortunately for the Mexicans, second place means they have their hands full Sunday at MetLife Stadium. El Tri is a -125 favorite vs. Costa Rica, but we’re sure they’d rather be playing Panama.
Mexico is now 9-to-5 at William Hill to win the tournament, while Costa Rica is 19-to-2, up from the 5-to-1 odds at which Los Ticos were priced ahead of the tournament. A quarterfinal matchup vs. Mexico will do that.
